Everyday a Child Life Specialist is challenged from preparing a child for open-heart surgery, to helping the family to visit their child in the intensive care unit, facilitating a playroom session, or providing bereavement support. It is inspiring to know that behind the front lines of caring for children that there are compassionate and generous individuals supporting the Chase Child Life Program.
